Nobile, Rosso and Vin Santo
Our Vino Nobile di Montepulciano is a classic full-bodied red wine aged in French oak barrels for 24 months. With a complex aroma and notes of ripe plum, pepper and other spices this elegant and rich wine is of exceptional quality.
The Vino Nobile is best paired with red meats and game, such as lamb, wild boar or steak, as well as aged cheeses like Pecorino or Parmesan.
Our Rosso di Montepulciano is a pleasant and fruity red wine with an aroma of berries and delicate floral notes. It represents a fresh and balanced Sangiovese grape that produces a rich wine of great complexity.
The Rosso pairs well with pasta dishes, both simple and rich, white meat, and medium-aged cheeses. Pleasant even in the summer, it can be served at a slightly lower temperature (15/16 degrees).
Our Vin Santo di Montepulciano is a traditional Tuscan dessert wine. Rich in aroma, it has notes of honey, apricot, and hazelnut. Sweet and with a velvety finish, it is an incredibly harmonious wine. Traditionally, the Vin Santo is paired with biscotti for dessert. Biscotti itself is not a sweet dessert, but is beautifully complemented with the sweetness of the Vin Santo. Dark chocolate, blue cheeses, and nut-based desserts also pair well with this wine.
